Swan Park

The first week we arrived in Ireland, one of the security guards at Carlow College told us about a park nearby that had a river and pond with about 50-70 swans in it. So two other girls and I set out to find it yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome.

Only a few blocks from our dorm is a beautiful park filled with trees, and grass, and hills. The park also had a river and pond, as the security guard had mentioned. It was a beautiful day, and we had a really lovely time just relaxing in the sun, and watching the swans gracefully swim around. It was great to get out and have some fresh air.
